Nobody can argue that the World is undergoing a Digital transformation. This is going to render undeniable advantages in economical wealth creation as well as in social welfare terms. It is therefore not a matter of discussing whether the new implemented models, process and underlaying technology are going to be sufficiently secure or not but rather mobilising all the actors involved (legislators, public authorities, enterprises and citizens alike) to design, build, demand and rule for the right security mechanisms to be included in the new solutions. And it is not only a matter of signing for it, but to practically collaborate to build it within the right framework and across the different industries and public institutions. Then the Digital World will be materialised to the furthest extent possible and deliver the promised benefits.
